This is prime hammock Country.
I do spend a month or so for the past couple years in the Southwest, AZ, NM, UT and NV. I find it much harder to find places to hang and have gone to ground on many occasions when I'm hiking the deserts.

I do have a couple holes in my Melanzana hoodie, but it still has plenty of life left in it. I never backpack without it.
Steviehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00099064394859894070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-437728056755394515.post-2497361128925503992014-11-02T19:02:44.270-07:002014-11-02T19:02:44.270-07:00WOW thanks! A...WOW thanks! Glad you've enjoyed reading.

Aren't the Melanzana hoodies great?!?! You are the only other person I know who uses one for sleeping in the hammock too, but I totally agree it's a winning combination. Mine's been holding up well too. The only clothing item that I brought on the PCT that isn't full of holes or threadbare.

Where do you hike/ hang?Joan Westhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16396313531820725640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-437728056755394515.post-64673307962992000542014-11-01T15:49:39.007-06:002014-11-01T15:49:39.007-06:00Love your blog. I sleep in it almost every outdoors night, usually in my hammock, which has been quite a lot this past couple years.

Hope to run into you on the trail.Steviehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00099064394859894070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-437728056755394515.post-60493337327122361972014-10-30T19:47:21.102-06:002014-10-30T19:47:21.102-06:00Cool!Cool!Joan Westhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16396313531820725640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-437728056755394515.post-87381752080217231192014-10-30T14:35:56.668-06:002014-10-30T14:35:56.668-06:00On my list for sure, maybe 2016.On my list for sure, maybe 2016.Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11166776565191771729noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-437728056755394515.post-6123394769553647782014-10-30T09:34:56.678-06:002014-10-30T09:34:56.678-06:00Will be interesting to be somewhere with snow agai...Will be interesting to be somewhere with snow again. I have done a day hike or two in the foothills and drove through RMNP---pretty cool to see the ice that stays up there through summer and see how deep the snow gets along the roadways. Looks awesome!

Mistihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15152831329347482311noreply@blogger.com
