Appalachian Trail

While I've section hiked the Appalachian Trail from Springer Mountain in Georgia up to the Smokies, there's just something about the AT that keeps me coming back.  Sometimes it's to lead Trail Dames trips so that other can experience this trail, sometimes I just want to see a familiar section in a different season.  The AT always offers something new.  Someday I might finish the whole trail, but for now I feel fortunate to live so close that I can hike it on weekends.
